This year's Open Streets Windsor event has been cancelled.
Windsor city council voted in favour of the cancellation during Monday's council meeting.
The event was slated to take place on September 20 but was scrapped due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Over the past three years, the public has enjoyed the different activities along the eight kilometre stretch of closed city streets.
Administration did recommend the cancellation of the event but the Special Events Resource Team (SERT) did review plans to alter the route and modify activities, but couldn't find a scenario that would keep the event within the 100 person limit on public gatherings.
The report to council also expressed challenges to gather hundreds of volunteers needed to run the event.
The budget for the 2020 event was $111,000.
