Windsor crews are now shifting their attention to plowing residential areas following Sunday's snow storm.
About 28cm fell in the area from Saturday night into early Monday morning.
All sidewalks are to be cleared 4 hours after the snow fall for commercial property owners and 12 hours for residential property owners.
As well, it is against the Highway Traffic Act and Windsor by-laws to shovel snow back onto the street while clearing sidewalks and driveways.
Motorists are also asked to be patient when traveling behind a plow given that plows typically operate at 40 km/hour.
