5 local charitable groups are sharing in the proceeds from the Circle of 7 gala.
A total of $50,000 was raised at the Denim and Diamonds Gala in November.
Cheque presentations were made this morning.
Circle of 7 President Tony Haddad says the event is their premier event each year and they continue to receive requests for sharing in the proceeds.

Haddad says their success is inspiring other groups outside the area: "we've also had a group in London that has taken on a similar event and they've raised money specifically for prostate cancer at the London Health Sciences Centre"
He says in the 20 years of the fundraising group they've had a big impact raising over $3-million in direct and indirect contributions.
The Canadian Mental Health Association in Windsor hosted the event this morning and receives support for its bereavement program.
Also receiving cheques are the House of Sophrosyne, Children's Aid Society, Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare and the University of Windsor Schulich School of Medicine.
