The local Salvation Army is in the holiday spirit.
On Wednesday, the sally ann hosted its annual Christmas Dinner at St. Clair Centre for the Arts.
Roughly 750 people gathered and enjoyed some live entertainment and a traditional turkey dinner.
Marlene Meloche started attending the dinner eight years ago after her daughter became ill.
"The first year my daughter was sick and she wanted to come celebrate with the other people and she's better today and I thank the Salvation Army and everybody that's been around here for her, God bless you all," says Meloche.
Joan Garvey has been attending the dinner for three years.
She says the Salvation Army has assisted her and her family for a number of years especially when her house in Tecumseh caught fire.
"The Salvation Army put me back on my feet with my two children," says Garvey. "I was very upset and they arranged for me to have clothes for my children and all the necessities that I needed."
The Salvation Army has been holding the Christmas dinner in Windsor for more than 20-years.
