Happy anniversary to the Chimczuk Museum.
It's been officially open for one year and marked the milestone with a celebration over the Family Day weekend, attracting more than 700 people.
Tour guide Jason Lavin says "it's been a popular spot for people of all ages but the strongest selling point is that maybe people aren't aware of the history that Windsor has."
"Everybody has also been responding to the exhibits very well," says Lavin. "Everybody is really enthusiastic about it and great responses, great feedback. We've had people even from the States coming across and commenting on the museum and really enjoying it and spreading the word there too. Really cool to see all the different elements being brought together in one place."

The 11,000 square foot Chimczuk Museum came with a price tag of $5.7-million.
The city contributed $700,000 while the other funding came from the Federal Government and the bequest of Joseph Chimczuk.
