After 12 years in business, Cheli's Chili in Downtown Detroit will close.
Hockey Hall of Famer and former Detroit Red Wings defenseman Chris Chelios says the last day for his restaurant near Comerica Park will be November 24.
The downtown Detroit location is the last of what were three restaurants in metro Detroit which were opened after he was traded to the Red Wings from the Chicago Blackhawks.
Chelios left Detroit and his front office job with the Red Wings to return to Chicago this summer to be closer to his family.
