Jocelyn McGlynn says her biopsy results are very positive

Good news for a Chatham woman who is fighting leukemia.

Jocelyn McGlynn says her biopsy results are very positive after undergoing stem cell surgery in February.

McGlynn took to social media to say 98% to 100% of her diseased cells have been replaced with donor cells - there is no trace remaining of the disease.

She goes on to say she's thankful for support, her doctor and her God.

The 21 year old is aspiring health care professional heading into her fourth year in the medical science program at Western University in London.

Numerous swab and blood clinics were held in Windsor, Chatham and London for McGlynn to help in the search for a stem cell donor.

The donor remains anonymous.
