A Chatham woman didn't learn the first time--she was arrested twice in one day.
Around 5pm Wednesday, Chatham-Kent police were called for a shoplifting complaint at a Walmart where a woman allegedly stole $110 worth of cosmetics by putting them in her purse and walking out of the store.
She was arrested and charged with theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime.
Police also learned that she was a suspended driver and so prior to being released, she was warned about not driving.
Around 6pm, police saw the woman driving away from the Walmart.
She was pulled over and charged with driving a motor vehicle with no validation plate, operating a motor vehicle without insurance and driving while under suspension.
