Women struck by car taken to ChathamKent Health Alliance, then to London
A 63-year-old Chatham woman has been taken to a hospital in London in serious condition after being run over.
She was walking on the sidewalk of McNaughton Avenue at about 8 a.m. Monday when a car exiting a plaza struck her.
The 79-year-old driver of the car was not injured.
The Chatham-Kent police Traffic Unit is investigating.
