Fighting crime and delivering a baby was all in a day's work for a Chatham-Kent police officer.
On July 9th, 2019, at 12:48pm, 911 dispatch received a call from a man stating his wife was in labour and the 'baby was not waiting.'
Three minutes later, Constable Gary Orient was on the scene and helped to deliver the feisty little baby girl.
Mom and baby were then taken to the hospital and everyone is doing well.
