Charges Upgraded In Deadly Crash in East Windsor

The victim died earlier this week

Charges have now been upgraded in a fatal alleged drinking and driving crash in east Windsor.

Police were called late Sunday night, just before midnight, to a two-vehicle crash on McHugh St. and Mickey Renaud Way.

A woman was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and 39-year-old Cynthia Cosgrave, also known as Cindy Harrison, was taken off life support Tuesday. She passed away. 

The driver of the vehicle she was a passenger in has now had the charges upgraded.

Jeffrey Wilson, 46, of Tecumseh is now charged with impaired driving causing death, impaired driving causing bodily harm, exceeding 80 milligrams of alcohol causing death and exceeding 80 milligrams of alcohol causing bodily harm.

Investigators are asking any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to give them a call.
