Amherstburg Police have charged a 23-year-old man following Thursday's fatal accident involving a pedestrian.
Police say Brandin Crosier of Amherstburg has been charged with criminal negligence causing death.
The crash happened yesterday morning on County Road 18 between Concession 4 South and Meloche Road.
Police say Adam Pouget, 30, of of Amherstburg, was either walking or riding a skateboard near the shoulder of County Rd 18 when he was struck and killed by a silver Ford Focus.
Police say the Focus was passing another vehicle on County Road 18.
At the time of the accident, police say visibility conditions were extremely poor due to fog and speed and weather conditions were factors in the crash.
Police say Pouget was on his way to a job site with Tilbury Concrete.
Police say Crosier has been released with a promise to appear in court on December 20th.
