Minor injuries reported
Amherstburg police have laid charges following a disturbance in town.
Police were called Thursday at 5:15pm to an area of Murray St and King St.
When they arrived, a 30-year-old man told police he had been assaulted and cut with a knife.
An investigation revealed the 32-year old man confronted the victim and assaulted him causing a minor injury to his abdomen.
The victim claims he was also threatened by the man.
A 32-year-old Amherstburg man is charged with assault with a weapon, uttering death threats and carrying a concealed weapon.
