Two Leamington men are charged in connection with a Friday night incident that caused a hazardous material response.
There was a crash on Tecumseh Road East near Ford Boulevard around 6 p.m., a black pickup truck fled the scene.
A short time later officers were called to Tecumseh Road East and Forest Glade Boulevard where a citizen had used his vehicle to block in the truck.
One person in the truck was unconscious, the other in medical distress.
An unknown white powder was spotted in several bags and the scene was cordoned off while hazmat officers decontaminated the vehicle and gathered evidence.
34-year-old Matthew Korotva is charged with impaired driving, failing to remain at the scene of an accident, possession of suspected cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of marijuana.
19-year-old Johnny Fields is charged with possession of suspected cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of marijuana.
