A Windsor man is facing charges after spreading an intimate video of an ex-girlfriend.
The 27-year-old had distributed the video to people known to the woman via the internet July 21.
A video was created consensually but the 36-year-old woman told police she never agreed to having the video distributed.
Police say the same man was arrested and charged with assaulting the woman in May of 2017 — He was released with a condition not to contact her.
He's charged with, publication of an intimate image without consent, and failure to comply with a recognizance.
Windsor Police say charges for distributing intimate images without consent can result in up to five years in prison.
