Windsor police have charged a 29-year-old city man in connection with a vehicle theft early this week.
On Monday at about 5 am, officers were dispatched to a business on Tecumseh Road East near Central Avenue.
An employee reported their vehicle had been stolen from the parking lot.
When the employee went to retrieve keys from their coat pocket, it was also missing.
In addition to the contents of the coat, a number of personal items were in the vehicle including a wallet with bank cards.
Before the credit card could be cancelled, it had been used at a convenience store.
Surveillance video allowed officers to identify the suspect, who they located at a residence on Grandview Street in Fontainebleu.
When the suspect approached the stolen vehicle Tuesday mid afternoon, he was arrested and stolen property and drugs were found in the vehicle.
Kyle Crawford is facing numerous theft, fraud and drug charges.
