Charges have been laid following a theft from a vehicle in Windsor.
Police were called to Fairview Blvd, south of Edgar St. in the Riverside area just after 9am on Sunday, October 7th after a vehicle was broken into and a credit card was stolen and later used at a number of convenience stores and pharmacies in the city.
The Windsor Police Financial Crimes Unit obtained surveillance video of a suspect and he was identified.
On Friday October 12th, a 35-year old man was arrested without incident on Wyandotte Street East near McDougall.
Police say the suspect was also in possession of 215 grams of marijuana.
Justin Kaczmarski is charged with theft under $5000, fraud under $5000, use credit card obtained by criminal offence, possession of stolen property, possession of suspected marijuana, two counts of breach of recognizance and breach probation.
Windsor police remind drivers to lock it or lose it.
