OPP are charging a pair of young people after an incident involving bear spray this week in Lakeshore.
The two people charged are youths before the criminal justice system and are charged with mischief and theft.
As AM800 News reported earlier this week, OPP were called to the area of St. Charles ST. in Lakeshore around 12:30am on Wednesday. (Nov. 22)
Police report two people were injured after getting bear sprayed in the eyes. The victims had interrupted another pair who police report had been trying to break into parked cars on St. Charles St. The victims chased them off and were sprayed.
OPP remind the public it is only legal to use bear spray against attacking bears and spraying people with bear spray is strictly prohibited.
