Charges have now been laid following an abduction in Windsor Monday morning.
Police were called to a home on California Ave, south of Girardot for an 18-month old child who was allegedly abducted by the mother who was not the legal guardian.
Police say a woman allegedly entered the home through a window and a family member tried to get her out of the house and a physical altercation ensued.
She grabbed the child and fled on foot.
Officers received information about a suspect vehicle which was located on Sandwich Street and police arrested three people.
The child was in good health and safe.
33-year old Karen Hoyt of Windsor is charged with abduction, break and enter and assault.
34-year old Joseph Quaglia and 20-year old Nicole Shepley, both of Windsor, are charged with abduction.
