Charges are expected as the Windsor Police Traffic Reconstruction Unit investigates a vehicle collision that left a pedestrian with serious injuries.
On Dec. 21, shortly before 3 p.m., officers were dispatched to the intersection of Sandwich Street and Mill Street for a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.
Through the investigation, officers learned that a vehicle turning southeast on Mill Street from Sandwich Street, struck a pedestrian crossing the street.
The 24-year-old pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say charges are expected for the driver.
