A charge has now been laid from a head-on crash that snarled traffic on Tecumseh Road West near Crawford Avenue yesterday.
At about one in the afternoon a minivan and SUV collided.
Both drivers were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Windsor police have charged one of the drivers, a 70-year-old Windsor man, with careless driving.
