A change is being made to this year's Ford fireworks display over the Detroit River.
It started at 9:45pm last year but fireworks officials have decided it was still too light. The start time has been pushed back 10 minutes to 9:55 for this year's display..
Tony Michaels, the President and CEO of Parade Company Detroit, is promising it'll be the best show ever. "We blend the fireworks off of three barges. We don't shoot the fireworks off the same barrage so we blend them, we choreograph it to the music and our finale is as good as it's going to be in America".
The show takes place June 26 and is being put together by the Zambelli Company.
