It's time to adjust those clocks again.
Clocks fall back one hour at 2am on November 3rd which is, according to the Windsor Fire and Rescue Services, also a good time to install new batteries in smoke and carbon monoxide alarms.
Fire Chief Stephen Laforet says, "In order for smoke and carbon monoxide alarms to do their job, they need to have working batteries."
Working smoke detectors are required on every storey of the home as well as outside of sleeping area.
Carbon Monoxide alarms must be installed outside sleeping areas if your home as a fuel-burning appliance, fireplace or attached garage.
Removing batteries is against the law and can result in a $360 ticket.
