A chairperson has been appointed to lead Ontario's High Speed Rail Planning Advisory Board.
The Honourable David Collenette, who has been acting as the special advisory has been named to the post.
He will continue the work to bring high speed rail service to cut travel times between Toronto and Windsor.
Collenette is a former federal Minister of Transport and retired from politics 2004, serving under three Prime Ministers.
High speed trains would travel at up to 250 km/h.
