Edmonton quarterback Mike Reilly is the C-F-L's outstanding player. He received the honour at the league's annual awards banquet last night.
Reilly started all 18 regular-season games and led the C-F-L in passing and tied Ottawa's Trevor Harris for the league lead in touchdowns.
Toronto Argonauts quarterback Ricky Ray was the finalist.
The C-F-L's outstanding Canadian award went to Winnipeg native Andrew Harris.
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers running back had a C-F-L-best 105 catches _ the most ever by a running back. He also led the league in rushing with 1,035 yards as Winnipeg earned its first home playoff game since 2011.
Toronto's Marc Trestman has been recognized for turning around the Argonauts.
Trestman was named the C-F-L coach of the year after guiding Toronto to first in the East Division and a Grey Cup berth. The Argos went 9-and-9 following last year's 5-and-13 mark.
Trestman was also the C-F-L's top coach in 2009 with Montreal.
Sunday's Grey Cup coverage on AM800 starts at 4pm, and you can also watch the game on TSN.
