Smoke alarm credited for waking up the resident.
The cause of a house fire in Amherstburg over the weekend is going down as undetermined.
Damage is pegged at $150,000 in the fire at 77 Gore St which broke out Saturday at 6:30am.
The blaze started at the back of the home and caused heavy damage to the second floor and attic.
A person living in the home got out safely thanks to a smoke alarm.
