About 500 students at Catholic Central High School in Windsor got out of class on Friday, November 24, 2017, to watch a basketball game, where the score didn't even matter.
Students paid $2 to get out of class with proceeds going to Run for Rocky and anti-bullying initiatives.
All in the name of anti-bullying week.
Department Head of Phys.Ed and Athletics Jalil Khoury says it's a good easy fundraiser for students to take part in.
"I think we have well over 500 students here so depending on teachers numbers, we are hoping to collect an unbelievable amount."
Grade 9 student Oliver Namou says it is a cause that shouldn't even exist.
"I honestly don't really think like bullying should happen at all, this world should be full of peace and there is no reason to put down any other people," she says "Everybody can have their own opinion, we are like a family, God put us down here to be all equal to one another and made us the way we should be"
Catholic Central and Villanova played in the senior boys basketball game. Catholic Central beat Villanove 70 to 34.
