A cat that was thrown out of a moving vehicle in Chatham-Kent has been put down.
An official with the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals says the cat was euthanized by a vet due to the extent of the injuries it suffered.
Sunday at 5:35pm, a witness saw the animal being thrown in the area of McCreary Line and Dawn Valley Rd in Chatham Kent.
The witness checked on the cat and took it to a veterinary clinic.
The OSPCA is looking for a late model single cab Chevrolet Duramax 4x4 pick-up truck.
