Alex Ovechkin scored the go-ahead goal in the second period and the Capitals held on to edge the Golden Knights 3-2 in Game Two of the Stanley Cup Final in Las Vegas.
Brooks Orpik extended the Caps' lead to 3-1 later in the second. Lars Eller had a goal and two assists to back 37 saves from Braden Holtby as Washington evened the best-of-seven series at a game apiece.
Holtby made a save late in the third period to hold the lead for Washington, a stop some are calling the save of the playoffs.

James Neal and Shea Theodore lit the lamp for Vegas. Marc-Andre Fleury allowed three goals on 26 shots in defeat.
The series shifts to D.C. for Game Three on Saturday.
