Jeff Petry scored the winning goal just 15 seconds into overtime as the Montreal Canadiens clipped the Bruins 3-2 in Boston.
Brendan Gallagher and Paul Byron lit the lamp in regulation for Montreal, which has won three-of-four NHl games.
Carey Price made 41 saves in the victory.
David Krejci tallied the tying goal for the Bruins with 38 seconds left in the third to force OT.
Brad Marchand also scored and Tuukka Rask made 19 saves in the setback.
Boston has earned at least a point in seven of its last eight games.
