The Montreal Canadiens have traded Windsor Spitfires defenceman Mikhail Sergachev to the Tampa Bay Lightning.
In exchange, the Canadiens receive restricted free agent Jonathan Drouin and a conditional sixth-round draft pick.
Drouin is coming off his best season where he scored 21 goals and added 32 assists in 73 games.
Sergachev was selected in the first round by Montreal in the 2016 draft and is coming off a Memorial Cup championship with the Spitfires.
