The CCB will increase starting July 20
Canadian families will be getting a slight boost to their income starting July 20.
The Government of Canada is increasing the Canada Child Benefit which targets middle class families.
It will increase by $96/year for a child under the age of 6 and $81/year for a child ages 6 to 17.
Minister of Families, Children and Social Development Jean-Yves Duclos announced today the CCB will increase to keep up with the cost of living.
The change comes two years ahead of schedule and will give parents more money each month to help them provide for their chidlren.
