The Canadian men's and women's B divisions, and the men's C and D divisions National Ball Hockey Championships will be taking place here in Windsor over the next few days.
Also, prior the games starting tomorrow, there will be an informational free clinic which will take place this evening between 6:30pm and 8pm at the WFCU Centre's, AM800 rink.
The only cost to participate in the clinic is a canned good, or non-perishable food item.
The President of the Windsor Ball Hockey Association, Brian Anthony says it's a great opportunity to learn more about the sport.
"Bring a canned good to help out our downtown food bank, and I've got some Team Canada players who recently won a gold medal and you can see you can represent your Country in ball hockey not just ice hockey."
Anthony tells AM800 Sports there are some familiar names on the Windsor Chiropractic team.
"You got Scott Lehman, Ryan Wilson and a couple of former NHL'ers there, and former Spitfire Memorial Cup winner Rob Kwiet and Rosati has picked up former Spitfire tough guy Scott Todd."
Anthony says it's the first time the event has been held in Ontario.
Rosati Construction opens the men's B division tomorrow at noon against Grimsby in the main bowl at the WFCU Centre, and AM800's Steve Bell will emcee and drop the ceremonial ball.
Windsor Chiropractic starts play tomorrow afternoon at 3pm in the AM800 rink against the East Coast Pub Eagles.
