Canada's Denis Shapovalov is off to the third round at the U.S. Open tennis tournament.
He's moving on after a 6-4, 6-4, 7-6 (3) victory over eighth seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France on centre court at Arthur Ashe Stadium.
The 18-year-old Canadian broke his opponent once in each set and finished the match with 28 winners.
Shapovalov will next face Kyle Edmund of Britain.
In other action, Canada's Eugenie Bouchard lost her women's first-round match 7-6, 6-1 to Evgeniya Rodina.
Later, Vancouver's Vasek Pospisil retired form his match against Fernando Verdasco after dropping the first set 6-2.
