The annual Canada Day Parade is set to return to downtown Windsor Monday.
Windsor Parade Corporation's Maggie Durocher says this years parade will feature 50-floats, horses and music.
She tells AM800 News there will plenty of new floats this year, but even parade regulars always have a fresh look.
"Even for the entries that continue to come each year, they always change up how they make their float look," she says. "It's always new for the Canada Day Parade."
Durocher says she never gets tired of seeing smiles up Ouellette Ave.
"Just a sea of red and white and we can't wait to be out there enjoying Canada Day with everybody," says Durocher.
She says there's plenty more on deck when the parade reaches Riverside Dr.
"After the parade it's down to Festival Plaza because we've got that giant cake down there, the midway's last day, and we have some amazing entertainment on stage," she added.
The parade kicks off at Ouellette Ave. and Giles Blvd. at 11am Monday.
