Nature Fresh Farms and South Essex Fabrication are hoping to hit the ground running in a new fundraising campaign.
They have launched a campaign to raise $1.5-million for a state of the art track and field at the new Leamington District Secondary School.
Nature Fresh has already committed $250,000 for the track which will be called "Nature Fresh Field."
Nature Fresh Director of Marketing Chris Veillon says many of their employees have graduated from Leamington District Secondary School.
"Our brand is centered around education and healthy eating so it made sense for us to get involved with this community based initiative that would allow us to marry them both together," says Veillon.
The new Leamington High School will open in September. Construction is already underway on the new track which will include eight lanes along with a football and soccer fields.
