Local Halloween stores are getting ready for the last minute rush.
At the Party Warehouse on Walker Rd, Manager Tina Merrifield says Halloween activity started off a little slow this year compared to previous years.
She says it picked up last weekend and is anticipating a busy Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
"Thursday's are actually perfect just because we have the parties before and after the weekend," says Merrifield.
Merrifield says there are a number of popular adult costumes this year.
"For adults, the IT costume was pretty popular for us," says Merrifield. "I know FortNite really popular right now, skeletons that kind of thing. There's a lot of regular costumes from back in the day, ghosts and stuff like that is really popular this year."
Merrifield adds popular costumes for kids vary this year.
"Harry Potter is still pretty popular," says Merrifield. "I know Minecraft, the FortNite is pretty popular, scary clowns, everything really scary kids like, especially boys."
Merrifield says the store will remain open until 9pm up until Friday and will open on Saturday until 6pm.
