George Hill chipped in 16 off the bench for the Bucks, who advance to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since 2001.
Kyrie Irving went 6-for-21 from the field and scored 15 points for the Celtics.
Marcus Morris and Jayson Tatum each added 14 for Boston, which bows out of the NBA playoffs.
