Some new additions are coming to this year's Bright Lights Festival.
Based on feedback from the two previous years, there will be illuminated signs, the WE Made It Holiday market will be expanded to Sundays on top of Fridays and Saturdays and there will be sensory friendly 'Silent Nights' on Monday nights from 5:30pm to 7pm where the lights will be on but the sound will be muted.
There is also a Canadian zone which includes a lighted moose and 'eh' sign for photo ops.
Over 100,000 people attended the free festival last year at Jackson Park.
Mayor Drew Dilkens says it's important for the festival to remain free for everyone to attend.
"The whole point of this was to make it a free fun family event," he says. "Something that it doesn't matter where you live in the city, how much money you make or don't make, you can come out and enjoy this festival and have a great holiday experience together as a community."
