The Windsor Sports and Cultural Centre is once again giving back to the community.
On Thursday, members of the centre dropped off canned goods, blankets, sleeping bags and some household items to Street Help Homeless Centre on Wyandotte St E.
Centre member Jatinder Rai says a $1000 cheque was also donated along with the items.
"They have lots of everything to share for Christmas time and all year," says Rai. "Most of the time lot of people on the street they need all the kind of help they can get."

Rai adds the centre has been donating to Street Help for 14-years.
"It's grown a lot maybe four, 500 percent," says Rai. We were small that time but now we have a lot of members and everybody likes to donate."
Rai says the group also donated pizza to Street Help on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
