Two men have been arrested after alleged phony American $100 bills surfaced in Windsor.
Police were called to a business on Tecumseh Rd. East near Lauzon for counterfeit currency around 8:30am Sunday.
Police say two men tried to pass the suspected fake U.S bills but the retailer refused to accept them.
About 30 minutes later, police received similar call for fake money.
An investigation found the two suspects were the same in both incidents.
Police located the suspects in a parking lot on Lauzon Rd and arrested the two men.
Officers found 96 American counterfeit $100 bills and 0.3 grams of suspected methamphetamine.
The two men, including a 24-year-old from Windsor, face a long list of charges.
