The body of a 66-year old priest from Michigan has been recovered following a tragic boating accident on the Detroit River.
Reverend Stephen Rooney is the last person unaccounted for from the vessel that capsized with 14 people on board near Amherstburg,Ont. Sunday.
Gross Ile Police say a fishing charter discovered Rooney's body in Lake Erie near Stoney Point, Mich. in the early morning hours Thursday.
Twelve people were rescued, but the Trenton, Mich. native and the boat's pilot Robert Chiles of Gross Ille, Mich. were missing.
Chiles' body was found Tuesday morning.
