Mother nature as well as strong musical acts get the credit for a record breaking Liuna Blues Fest weekend.
"I would describe this year's event as the most successful one ever," says President Robert Petroni.
Petroni says the four-day event featured 30 bands.
He says he was pleased with the online ticket sales.
"The numbers exactly surpassed what we had hoped for and budgeted for and I can tell you our online ticket sales in one day on Saturday were 20% more than our entire festival year last year."
This year's headliners were the Tea Party, Kenny Wayne Shepard, The Sheepdogs and Joe Louis Walker.
Petroni says planning for next year's event has already begun.
