The Toronto Blue Jays continue to struggle, giving one of their sluggers his first Major League pitching debut

The Toronto Blue Jays threw in designated hitter Kendrys Morales for pitching help in the 9th inning in a 9-2 loss to the Oakland A's.

Morales had two of Toronto's four hits before being called on to take the mound. He walked one and got three flyouts in the 9th inning.

The loss on Sunday at the Rogers Centre saw the Jays swept by the A's in the four-game series.

Toronto is off until tomorrow when the Jays start up a series against the visiting LA Angels.
