The OPP in Essex County have released a photo of a vehicle believed to have struck a pedestrian who was killed on Hwy. 401 earlier this month.
It happened at the Lambton St./Grand Marais Rd. overpass on December 6 around 10:40pm.
The OPP say a 44-year-old Windsor man fell from the overpass, landing in the eastbound lanes of the 401 and was then struck by a passing vehicle.
The photo released is from the Ministry of Transportation camera. The vehicle looks like a newer model black Jeep Cherokee or something similar.
The driver is asked to call the OPP as police say they are well aware that they were involved in the collision.
