A day to celebrate cycling in the City of Windsor.
This is "Bike to Work" day and around 100 people on two-wheelers made their way from Jackson Park to the riverfront where a breakfast and other activities took place.

Executive Director of Bike Windsor-Essex, Lori Newton, says the idea is simple.
"It's an opportunity for people to get out and see how many people commute by bicycle, it's amazing"
Newton, says they're hoping to change attitudes.
"The goal is to raise awareness of the fact that there's a lot of people who do commute by bicycle in the city that it's not just recreational trail riding that we do here and that it's a celebration of active transportation and healthy active lifestyles"
She says people are beginning to see cycling differently.
"There's starting to be a recognition that it is more than trails and we're heartened by that and we're going to keep on fighting and pushing to get better and better cycling infrastructure for safety in the City of Windsor"
After being a runner for three decades, Guy DiPonio has now been a cyclist for 20, and hopes to see progress.
"We have a long ways to go in North America in terms of awareness of cyclists and cyclists have a lot to learn as well. But there's got to be more of an acceptance of cyclists and when people see that there's more than one or two, maybe we'll start to make a little ground"
And for people unable to be part of this morning's event can still participate.
You just have to take a selfie, hashtag it WeBikeToWork, and they'll be entered to win some bike swag and get a tee-shirt.
