The Essex 73's blasted the Dresden Kings 7-1 yesterday afternoon in Essex.
The 73's lead 1-0 after one period on a Justin Bondy goal, then blew it wide open outscoring the Kings 4-1 in the second before adding a pair of unanswered third period goals.
Dawson Winchester scored twice to power the 73's, while Jack Sanko, Cody Leeming, Wyatt O'Neil, and William Stadder added singles.
Brodie Conlon had the lone Dresden goal.
Jax D'hondt made 27 saves to backstop Essex to the easy win.
The 73's can wrap up the Stobbs Division semi-final with a win in game five tomorrow night in Dresden.
