Donation is being made to the Fight Like Mason Foundation
Another boost for the Fight Like Mason Foundation.
The Belle River Atom Major AA team has presented a cheque for $5,400 — money raised during the Ontario Hockey Finals (OHF) Championship at the Atlas Tube Centre in April.
As part of hosting the tournament, the local team is responsible to fundraise money.
The Soo Jr. Greyhounds were the Ontario Champions in the 2019 Atom AA age group.
Spokesperson Matt James says they chose Fight Like Mason because the family is from Belle River.
