A pair of late Matt Stafford interceptions sank the Detroit Lions as they lost to the Chicago Bears 23-16 at Ford Field on Thanksgiving Day in the U.S.
Eddie Jackson returned an interception 41 yards for a Chicago touchdown, and with the Lions driving late in the fourth quarter for the potential tying score, Kyle Fuller intercepted Stafford in the end zone.
Chase Daniel was forced to start at quarterback for the Bears, who were without their starter, Mitchell Trubisky because of an injured shoulder.
Daniel was 27-for-37 for 230 yards and two touchdowns.
Stafford was 28-for-38 for 236 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions.
With the loss, Detroit falls to 4-and-7 on the NFL season, while the Bears improve to 8-and-3 in the NFC North Division.
