A fundraising total is expected early next week after a successful Battle of the Hors D'oeuvres fundraiser.
The 33rd annual event supports Big Brothers Big Sisters of Windsor-Essex.
It was held on Thursday at Caesars Windsor and featured 12 food vendors and seven beverage vendors.
Vicki Hedge is Resource Development Co-ordinator for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Windsor-Essex.
She says this year's fundraising goal is $55,000.
"Everything stays right here in Windsor and goes to our seven mentoring programs," says Hedge. "So it's all local and all stays here in Windsor-Essex."
Hedge adds it's great to see the community come out and support the event.
"I'm just very appreciative that everybody is here and they're all here to support the children in our program and it's overwhelming," says Hedge.
Big Brothers Big Sisters Windsor-Essex assists more than 800 local children.
